Das Prinzip des Klemmens - damit kann dieses dreiteilige Möbel von Klemmbrett überzeugen. Die Gestelle, gefertigt aus 10mm Stahl und farbig gepulvert, umfassen die hölzerne Platte und klemmen sie ein. Dabei besticht der Tisch durch den Materialmix und bildet doch eine überraschende Einheit der Elemente. Die Konstruktion ist so simpel wie gut: das Metall greift in Nuten auf Ober- und Unterseite der Tischplatte und wird dort fixiert. Diese Verbindung sorgt schließlich dafür, dass der Tisch in Kürze ohne Werkzeug aufgebaut und zum arbeiten bereit ist.

Manuel Welsky wurde 1986 in Minden geboren und studierte Architektur und Innenarchitektur an der Detmolder Schule für Architektur und Innenarchitektur mit dem Abschluß Bachelor of Arts Innenarchitektur. Ab September 2010 wird er seinen Master in Basel beginnen. Neben dem Studium baut sich der Jungdesigner Manuel Welsky sein eigenes Büro auf und arbeitet an freien und Kooperationsprojekten im Bereich Möbel und Ausstellungsdesign.

The principle of jamming - for this reason this three-part furniture by Klemmbrett can convince. The frames, made from 10mm powder-coated steel, cover the wooden plate and plug into it. This table captivates by its material mix and surprising unity of elements. The design is as simple as beneficent: the metal reaches into grooves on the top and bottom of the tabletop and is fixed there. This connection makes the furniture piece ready to use after a quick assembly — and that without the help of any tools.

Manuel Welsky was born 1986 in Minden, Germany and studied architecture and interior design at the Detmolder School of architecture and interior design. He graduated with a degree in interior design. He will start his master studies in Basel in September 2010. Besides going to school Manuel Welsky opened his office and works on own projects as well as collaborations with other designers in the areas of furniture and exhibition design.
