The third prize went to the jewelry designer Janine Arnold, "because with her jewelry she brings together valuable materials like gold and everyday products like nail polish. Her designs enables the user to create his own piece of jewelry whenever he wants."

The blickfang silver Award went to Pliet: "The judges like the clear lines and the skilled use of color, combined with professional know-how. Also remarkable is that the entire collection is produced in northern Germany.

And our golden boys, the winners of the blickfang Award in gold are the three founders of the Danish label Nordic Tales: "The judges are impressed by the simple, timeless and emotional design, and the use of natural materials. Their products reflect the passion for good form design and high quality production. The whole collection is made locally and environmentally friendly."

Congratulations: The blickfang Award winners from Hamburg

Our blickfang Design Award jury consisting of Morten Kaaber, brand manager of muuto, Antonia Michael, editor of couch magazine and Babette Peters, director of hamburgunddesign, did not take the easy way out and examined carefully every single exhibitor. In the end, there was even four winners. The additional special mention was awarded the Hamburg interdisciplinary studio Bühler for "the casual and humorous way to deal with with critical and political issues and to animate with their products reflection, debate and laugh," said the jury.
